At Develan, we want you to love your purchase and feel confident every step of the way. If your rug doesn’t meet your expectations, we offer a clear and fair return and refund policy designed to give you peace of mind.
1. Return Eligibility
You may return your item(s) within 30 days of receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:
- The item is unused, unwashed, and in original condition
- All original packaging, tags, and inserts are included
- The product shows no signs of damage, or alteration
- Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is provided
Items returned that do not meet these conditions may not qualify for a refund.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Final sale or clearance items
- Customized or made-to-order rugs
- Gift cards or promotional items
- Items damaged due to misuse or improper care
3. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please email our team at support@develan.com with the subject line “Return Request – [Order Number].” Include:
- Your full name and order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- A brief reason for the return
- Optional: photos of the product (if applicable)
We will respond within 1-2 business days with return instructions, including the return shipping address.
4. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless:
- The item arrived damaged
- You received the wrong item
- The return is due to a verified issue with product quality
We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure your item reaches us safely. Develan is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
5. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed back to the original payment method within 7 business days
- Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to post the funds to your account
- Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error or a defective item
6. Exchanges
If you received a defective or incorrect item, we’ll gladly send you a replacement. Please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.
All exchange requests follow the same process as returns.
At this time, we do not offer exchanges for color preference, size swaps, or change-of-mind purchases. For those, please initiate a return for a refund and place a new order.
7. Damaged or Lost Items
If your product arrives damaged or your order is lost in transit, please notify us within 30 days of delivery (or expected delivery). Include photos and order details. We’ll investigate the issue and work to resolve it quickly – whether through replacement or refund.
